We are delighted to announce that the SOS International Europe summit will be hosted by the University of Stirling, Scotland, 27-28 May 2027.
Following the success of three consecutive summits in University of Twente (2024), University of Ghent (2025) and University of Konstanz (2026), we're excited to be supporting our growing global community with another in-person event to look forward to in 2027.
Host institution, University of Stirling, is located in the Central Belt of Scotland, equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh and is highly accessible by rail and bus from both cities. Scotland can be reached by rail in just 4-5 hours by daytime train from London, or a comfortable overnight journey on the 'Caledonian Sleeper'.
The summit will be hosted by University of Stirling Students' Union green & blue space, a long-standing and valued Green Office member of SOS International. The Green & blue space features an on-campus, student-led sustainability hub, and various innovative student projects from the food share scheme to an organic garden and fruit tree orchard.
We're looking forward to developing an engaging and informative program, in partnership with Stirling and our global membership community. The call for contributions will be launched in October 2026, with delegate tickets going on sale later this year.
