The 2025–26 academic year is well underway, and October has been a busy month for Green Office members across campuses.
At SOS, we’ve had a packed schedule of visits, allowing us to see the fantastic work taking place, share insights, and strengthen connections. In early October, the Dutch network of Green Offices, coordinated by Anne Schmidt from the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, hosted a “learning from and with each other” event at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Den Bosch.

This event provided an opportunity to visit the Green Offices at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Leiden University, Utrecht University, and the aspiring Green Office member, Webster Leiden.
On 7 October, the newly established Green Office at PUC Minas was officially launched, attracting over 300 students and staff. We contributed to the celebration with a virtual presentation on the Green Office Movement.

Later in the month, we joined our members in Scotland, attending the launch of a new Green Office at the University of Strathclyde, followed by an apple-themed visit to the University of Stirling Green Office. You can read more about these visits in our upcoming web article in the Live Updates section
